A big thank you to neighbors who helped on May 4th to get our shared beachfront ready for Summer 2024! And also a big thanks to neighbors who regularly take care of the beach area over the year.

* cleaned up the beach, yielding 7 large bags of debris

* dug up invasive corn grass

* cut down low-hanging branches and thorny locusts

* raked and seeded new grass

* restored a paved beach walkway

* stacked scattered kayaks

* installed the Mobi-mat for better access to the water * repaired a picnic table

* hauled away 2 truckloads of branches, brush and other debris

* purchased 3 new buoys for the swim area markers and anchors *

*installed a dedicated area for beach chairs, umbrellas, etc.
